Las canciones tristes en Inglés,  cuentan con un efecto que es muy poderoso en el cerebro del ser humano, ella se encarga de potenciar nuestra inteligencia emocional  e incrementa la capacidad para poder darle interpretación a los sentimientos. Los seguidores de la famosa saga Crepúsculo conocerán todo acerca de esta canción, ya que es el soundtrack de la película Amanecer parte 1. Al contrario que otras bandas sonoras, A Thousand Years centra su letra en el romance y la tristeza de la vida de los protagonistas de la película. En lo particular a mi me encanta.
