Ejercicios de Comparativos en Inglés
Los adjetivos pueden comparar dos cosas. Cuando hacemos estas comparaciones, usamos las formas comparativas de los adjetivos. Esta es una forma de describir sustantivos (personas, objetos, animales, etc.) comparándolos con otra cosa. Esta es una habilidad gramática que se debe estudiar y para eso te traemos estos útiles ejercicios de comparativos en inglés.
Ejercicios de comparativos en inglés
Para muchos resulta complicado entender y conocer la diferencia entre las formas comparativa y superlativa de los adjetivos. Es por esto que después de cada lección es una buena idea hacer ejercicios que nos ayuden a afianzar cada conocimiento.
A continuación encontrarás tres ejercicios prácticos con los que puedes trabajar el uso de los adjetivos comparativos en la formación de oraciones:
Ejercicio 1:
Utiliza el adjetivo comparativo y la estructura gramatical correcta para escribir una oración que compare ambas declaraciones.
Ejemplo:
- Joan is 16 years old / Sabrina is 20 years old (Young)
- Joan is younger than Sabrina
- John is 1.75 mtrs tall / Brian is 1.89 mtrs tall (tall)
- The white table sits 4 people / The black table sits 6 people (big)
- Dean can lift 80 pounds / Liam can lift 70 pound (strong)
- Mary is 40 years old / Gabriel is 50 years old (old)
- Tom has A in math / Karen has B in math (best)
- A cupcake costs 1$ / A Cheescake costs 24 (cheap)
- In Canada Is snowing / In Florida is sunny (cold)
- Alice wakes up at 6am / Vicky wakes up at 8am (early)
- My house is a block away / your house is three blocks away (far)
- Fruits are natural / Sugar is processed (best)
- I haven´t eaten in an hour / He hasn´t eaten in four hours (hungry)

- Peter runs 1 kilometer in 25mins / Jonah runs 1 kilometer in 20mins (fast)

Ejercicio 3:
Sabiendo que en los adjetivos que tienen más de 2 sílabas los comparativos deben llevar “more” y “than”, construya oraciones comparativas usando estos sujetos y adverbios correctamente.
